Good value on an ESP32

I bought an ESP32 Development Board during a small sale. I was comparing prices across a few sites, and Quartzcomponents had the best overall price after a 5% new customer discount. Shipping was standard, took about 6 days to get to me, which is fine. The board works as expected. It felt like a good purchase for the money. I'd check them again for future needs, especially if there's another sale.

Decent selection, slow delivery

I ordered a Raspberry Pi 4 and a few small items like a Potentiometer and some Tactile Switches. The product range is good; I found everything I needed in one place. The parts themselves seem fine and are working correctly for my project. My only real gripe was the shipping time. It took about 9 days to reach me, which felt a bit long for items that were supposedly in stock. Customer service was helpful when I inquired about the delay, though. Overall, a solid choice for components, but be prepared to wait a bit for delivery.

Reliable source for components

This was my third order from Quartzcomponents. I needed some L298N Motor Drivers and a pack of Jumper Wires. Just like my previous orders for Arduino and sensors, everything came correctly. The quality is consistent, no surprises, which is what I look for in an electronics supplier. Packaging was good, and the delivery time was as expected, arriving within a week. It's nice to have a go-to place for these kinds of parts that I know I can count on.

Great find for DIY projects!

I was looking for some specific parts for a new robotics project and stumbled upon Quartzcomponents. Ordered a Robot Chassis Kit and a few SG90 Servo Motors. The website was easy to navigate and placing the order was quick. Everything arrived well-packaged and in perfect condition. It shipped pretty fast too, considering it was an international order for me. Will definitely be ordering from them again for my next build!

hey, anyone ordered a Raspberry Pi from here recently? just wondering if they're legit boards or some knock-off. saw a good price.

A Amanda Mitchell 1 week ago
Yeah, I got a Pi 4 last month. It was the real deal, no issues.

They only sell genuine Arduino and Raspberry Pi stuff from what I've seen. Ordered a couple of Arduinos myself and they were all good.

my L298N motor driver seems to be dead on arrival, what's their return policy like for defective stuff?

L Linda Gomez 1 week ago
Returns for defective parts are pretty straightforward. Just contact their support, tell them it's DOA. I had a sensor that was faulty and they replaced it without much hassle.

I've heard they're good with defective returns, just make sure you initiate it quickly after receiving it. Had a friend who got a bad relay and they sorted it out for him.

shipping times to NYC? need a NodeMCU pretty quick for a project, wondering if it'll make it in a week.

A Ashley Parker 4 weeks ago
Hmm, to NYC in a week might be tough. They're based in India. I think internal India shipping is pretty quick, but international takes longer. You'd probably need express, if they even offer it.

Yeah, I wouldn't count on it in a week. My order to California took about 2.5 weeks, and that was with standard shipping. You might want to check a local supplier for something that urgent.

any student discounts available? planning to buy a bunch of components for my final year project.

B Ben 1 month ago
Yep, they do have a student discount. I used it last semester for my Arduino kit. Check their site, there should be info on how to apply for it.

I think you need to send them some proof, like a student ID or something. Worth it if you're buying a lot though!

got a coupon code but where do I put it in? can't find the box at checkout.

D Danielle Martin 4 weeks ago
It's usually in the last step of checkout, right before you confirm payment. Look for a small text box labeled 'Promo Code' or 'Coupon Code'.

It's definitely there, maybe scroll down a bit on the payment page. Sometimes it's a small link you have to click first to reveal the box.
